He is a graduate of the Zoo-Engineering Faculty of the Moscow Veterinarian Academy. Later was a shop superintendent at the Bronnitsy poultry farm, chief of the processing and dressing division, deputy general director for poultry processing, dressing and trade of the Ramensky Meat Plant. Has been at the head of the Ramensky Meat Plant since 1992.
