The “Transneftemash” plant in Velikie Luki is a leading supplier of machinery and provider of transportation services to oil and gas companies.
The plant manufactures machines to perform major repairs of pipelines, cleaning, insulating, priming, asphalt bitumen, and other machines, and provides transportation services.
An intelligent investment and marketing policy, close monitoring of production costs, high manufacturing discipline and standards, and corporate solidarity are all important ingredients of the enterprise’s success. The plant’s engineering control service, reliability testing laboratory, and testing ground must be given credit for its stable and profitable performance.
Energy and ingenuity in approaching emerging problems are a distinctive mark of the plant’s dependable team of professional managers and work force. It is not surprising, therefore, that many of the plant’s products have won prizes under the Russia’s “100 Best Products” program.
The administration and labour union devote much time and effort to working conditions in the plant. The plant has been awarded a certificate of excellence for its social welfare standards by the organizers of the national competition for the title of Russia’s High-Efficiency Organization.
“Transneftemash” is the biggest and most stable taxpayer in the Pskov Region. It provides charitable aid to children’s and health care institutions in the city and financial assistance to retirees on pension.
